What matters most
- Ether.fi's dedicated EUR page advertises zero provider FX markup in beta when the merchant charges in EUR.
- A separate current fee page says currency conversions use a prevailing FX base rate of about 1%, with possible added tier margins outside the zero-EUR treatment.
- ATM limits are published, but withdrawal fee benefits differ by membership level and live in-app terms should be checked before relying on them.

What zero FX markup on EUR purchases means
Ether.fi's dedicated EUR article states that purchases charged by the merchant in EUR receive zero added FX markup and use the market conversion rate. It says the feature works with USDC or EURC, is automatic and remains in beta.
Zero markup does not make Dynamic Currency Conversion safe. If a terminal offers to convert the charge into another currency, the merchant or terminal can set a separate rate. Ether.fi recommends choosing EUR when the merchant's local charge is in EUR.
Why the broader FX schedule still matters
Ether.fi's current personal-card fee page says that where a currency conversion is required, a prevailing FX base rate of roughly 1% applies and an added margin may be charged. It lists an added margin of 0–0.5% for Core, 0–0.25% for Luxe and none for Pinnacle or VIP.
That wording is broader than the dedicated EUR zero-markup article. We interpret the EUR page as the specific treatment for merchant charges settled in EUR, while the general schedule describes other conversions and tier margins. Because the documents are not perfectly aligned, verify the live quote and applicable currency treatment before a large purchase.
ATM limits and withdrawal benefits
The current limits page lists $1,000 per ATM withdrawal and a maximum of five withdrawals in any rolling 24-hour period, for a $5,000 total. Availability restrictions apply in specified high-risk jurisdictions.
The Membership benefits page says ATM withdrawals are available at Core and Luxe, while Pinnacle and VIP include up to ten free withdrawals per month. It does not replace the detailed live fee schedule, and an ATM operator can add its own charge or conversion. Check the app before withdrawing cash.
Card and membership costs
Core is the entry membership. The current qualification page lists optional annual upgrades of $199 for Luxe and $999 for Pinnacle where available. Physical-card shipping, replacement and other service details can depend on tier and location.
Treat paid membership as an annual fixed cost. Divide it by the extra reward you expect to receive, then include only benefits you would genuinely purchase otherwise. A metal card or large theoretical cashback band is not economic value by itself.
A pre-spend verification checklist
Confirm the merchant charge currency, selected card mode, asset used for settlement, displayed exchange rate, membership level and whether the purchase is eligible for cashback. For cash withdrawals, check the Ether.fi fee, ATM-operator fee and any conversion prompt separately.
Save the provider's current terms when making a high-value decision. Ether.fi is still changing product details quickly, and a precise verification date is more useful than a supposedly permanent fee claim.
