Bybit Card fees in Europe: conversion, FX and ATM costs

A fee-by-fee explanation of the Bybit EU Card, including crypto conversion, foreign exchange and cash-withdrawal costs.

Verified brief2 primary sources reviewed

What matters most

  • Crypto-funded card transactions currently carry a 0.9% conversion fee on top of Bybit EU's sell rate.
  • Non-euro spending adds a 0.5% FX fee on top of Mastercard's rate.
  • The published non-VIP cashback is 1% on eligible purchases, so conversion and FX costs can absorb most or all of the reward.

The Bybit Card fee stack

Bybit EU publishes a 0.9% crypto conversion fee when a transaction is funded with non-fiat assets. It also lists a 0.5% foreign-exchange fee on top of Mastercard's exchange rate when the purchase currency differs from the card currency.

These charges solve different problems and can apply in the same spending journey. A euro purchase funded from a euro balance is not the same as a non-euro purchase funded from crypto, so compare scenarios rather than looking for one headline fee.

ATM withdrawals and card issuance

The current Bybit EU schedule lists a 2% ATM withdrawal fee after the first €100 withdrawn each month. An ATM operator may add its own fee or offer dynamic currency conversion, which should be assessed separately.

The published schedule lists no annual, inactivity or cancellation fee. Virtual-card issuance is currently listed without a fee, while replacement or physical-card conditions can differ. Always check the live schedule before applying.

Cashback does not erase conversion costs

Bybit EU announced a flat 1% cashback rate for eligible non-VIP purchases from June 2026, with separate terms for VIP users. Excluded merchant categories, refunds and cash withdrawals do not necessarily earn rewards.

If a crypto-funded purchase incurs a 0.9% conversion fee, a 1% reward leaves little room before spreads, FX or other costs. Calculate the net result for your normal spending pattern rather than comparing the reward rate in isolation.

A simple comparison method

Start with the purchase amount, then add any crypto conversion fee, FX fee and external ATM or merchant cost. Subtract only rewards you are reasonably eligible to receive.

Repeat the calculation using a fiat balance and a crypto balance. That reveals whether the card is genuinely competitive for your intended funding method.
